If you want to use it with heavier arrangements, it would be better to use foam or other stuffs as base to insert the flowers into it.

I like of these floral stems because they are easy to work with and flexible enough to bend on any way we want too.Since I got this set of 100 floral stems with 12 inches each stem I actually used a wire cutter to divide the stems into smaller sizes.I have used the floral stems to attach my silk golden roses (floral heads) that did not come with floral stems. I am glad that these artificial floral stems helped me to make cute flower arrangements to place around my house.

Picture above is the bouquet I made!The floral wire works like a dream!! Thick enough to hold in place and easy to work with! Will definitely by more when I run low.
