I purchased these to wrap my embroidery floss on because I was tired of how I was storing them with the paper wrapping falling off and my string getting tangled and knotted constantly. I also didn't want boring clear or white ones, so I got really excited when I found them in pink at a great price for the quantity. These worked perfectly for my floss, and they conveniently fit into each of the compartments in my clear plastic storage container which greatly helped with organization.

I have been a floss bobbin user for four decades and for me it is the easiest and best way to organize my floss. Now I can use the color bobbins to further organize by type or brand or just have a little extra pizzazz in my craft room. The only complaint is the slit is slightly too large to hold the thread. Not a dealbreaker. Great value.

They’re cut perfectly so they’re no sharp edges and the material is perfect for labeling them with a pencil.

Well this is my first attempt at cross stitch. So getting the supplies has been an interesting adventure. Amazon. Walmart. Target. Hobby lobby and Michael's. All have everything. Just trying to find the best deal and good quality items is the hard part. That being said, these guys do feel pretty sturdy. Firm and not flimsy. And getting to pick what color plastic is a little pleasure I enjoy. They perfectly fit my walmart floss container ($3.18 in store or pickup) and I got a total of 103 pieces instead of just 100. Win win. So for $6.29 for a 100 pink floss board card is not a bad deal.P.s. there are also deals if you wanted a winder and 100 floss cards for 7.99. I just didn't need the winder.
