By actual count, the vendor sent me 999 of these shiny polished spheres of ferric retribution. They can just throw an extra one in with my next order - and there will be a next order. These are exactly as described - beautifully round and smooth and exactly the right size. Excellent balance of size and weight - they fly straight, carry far, and retain sufficient kinetic energy at reasonable sling-shot distances.These are just what I needed for my Jihad against those Vile Pilferers of Goose Feed, the Unrighteous Bushy-Tailed Infidel Squirrels. The Texas-sized Tree Rats here in The Democratic Worker's and Peasant's Socialist People's Republic of Mount Goatmore just laugh off the 1/4 inch steel shot. They'll jump when they get hit, curse me for a Fascist Running Dog Tool of The Web-Footed, Honking Capitalist Oppressors, give me the finger (seriously) and run off.Well, impudent thieving verminous counter-revolutionary rodents - your uppance has most definitely come.Those of us of a certain age will remember the rubbery oval coin purses from back when the dimes, quarters and half-dollars were still 90% silver. You can still find them (the coin purses, not the 90% silver coinage, unfortunately) at The Dollar Store or Family Dollar, and they are just PERFECT for carrying your slingshot ammo.Hang a blanket as your backstop when you practice and you can recover most if not all of your shot with a magnetic screw picker-upper.

3/8 steel balls... high carbon so if you lose a few out in the woods, they will rust away in a week or less, so no making the bunny huggers angry. What could be better?In all seriousness, this is the least expensive practice ammo you can get. They are nice round 3/8 high carbon steel balls. And, yes. they do rust away pretty fast if left on the ground, so you really aren't causing any environmental damage if you leave a few here and there out in the woods. This is the best price I have found and they shipped fast. I have nothing but good things to say about this product and the transaction. All 100% A-OK Perfect. I will order again.

Perfect size for my sling shot I bought off another online store. They are heavy and probably enough hitting power to even do light game hunting with. Perfectly spherical and decent weight.

perfect size ammo and works well with magnetic ammo holders.was only short 5 or 6. (counted by weight. which i am sure manufacturer does)ammo arrived fairly quickly.. tough item to ship because of what it is. some reviews stated arrived with bearings loose and some escaped into the wild. lolby taking 15 seconds to simply tape the lid on the plastic box all of that could be avoided.going to try and contact the manufacturer to suggest the change to save future shipping issues.the amazon shipping robots i doubt could do it.

Best deal around for pocketshot ammo. Quality is excellent. Price the best. Always buy bulk. Tough to shoot through 1000 in a weekend. Remember to buy extra rubbers for your pocketshot!

A good size for firing in low grass if you're concerned about losing, great price per unit and they're all perfect. At the price, I don't consider them really disposable but with the quantity provided, and if you know your slingshot (mine's homemade in 1992) one shouldn't be too worried.
