I have used a lot of pull-rivets building an airplane kit. Bought these for an aluminum trailer project and they seem really soft. Hope they can take the stress.

I've been working with a rivet gun for three years now and I'm used to an occasional piece getting stuck in the mouth of the tool or an imperfect break that leaves a sharp edge on top -- it happens maybe one in every fifty rivets or so. But with these rivets it happened with ever other rivet I used. I had to take my tool apart twice to fish broken pieces out, and half of the rivets I installed had sharp, protruding edges above the surface because they broke off too high. I had to throw not only the rivets away but also the entire project I was working on is going to have to start over. Absolute waste of money.
