I've had my snow (Treds/grippers) for years.Wore out the traction buttons, but the rubber was still good.I bought these to replace my old buttons.The bottom base is a bit smaller than my original buttons & I have lost a few when walking. Even tho the base is smaller than the original buttons, it's still a tight fit & you do need some hand/finger strength to push buttons through the rubber openings.My only complaint is who needs a 100 tred buttons! Wish they were available in smaller quantities.

I've lost &/or used all the extras that came with my cleats so this hundred pack should last a couple of years.

I was a couple of them short; one was also missing the cleat, and another was just a small piece of yellow. Perhaps quality control needs to keep a closer watch on what and what's not going in the bag. that said, they are difficult to get onto the old set, and removing the old ones is also difficult, which is good, because it means they won't be falling out - and I have thumb arthritis which made it hard. Nonetheless, I am happy to have the opportunity to cut down on waste and extend the life of the grippers and save some money at the same time. I hope they keep making them. I think I'll be ordering more.

They do tend for fallout a little to easy but grip on ice works
