The hooks work just as well as the competitors that are 2-3 times the cost. I've caught plenty of fish on these hooks with no problems. I've used the jig hooks and the dry fly hooks. Granted, the biggest fish i typically catch are around 16-18" trout but they hold up really well, can't speak for larger fish.

These fly jig hooks are uniform and excellent. The points are well shaped and strong. The head loops are clised correctly as some hooks leave a gap that can cut tippet. These hooks are barbless which saves crimping the barb before tying and gives a smooth hookset. The hooks came with a small but functional flybox for those quick fishing runs...a nice bonus!

I like the size of the hook. I was not happy that the hook has a slight twist in it. I prefer a straight hook to tie my fly.

This makes the 3rd purchase of the 100 ct packs.I sell all of my flies so quality is a must. Ive yet to have a customer came back saying the hook broke off during a battle with a big trout or getting un snagged. As many hooks as I go through I would not be worth the effort to tie on anything different. If your supplying your region / locals with flies. Give these a try.The case is a bonus. Im going to uses these as fly life cycle packs. The entire life cycle in one case for 1 low price.

These hooks are great and I haven’t had any strength issues with them so far. They also came with a small fly box which is great if I tie for friends or just want a small box of spare flies. I wish they sold more types and sizes and I’d probably only buy these hooks.

The hooks are great but I thought I ordered an assortment pack but I received 100 size #12 nymph hooks and there all the same. I’ll keep these because I really like tying nymphs and they’re actually big enough to tie some dry flies with. I’ll look a little closer next time I order hooks from this company. I think the options are a little misleading. It was hard to decipher which packs of hooks were the assorted hooks and if that was even an option. If a hook assortment isn’t an option I think it should be an option. I will buy from this company again as it is a really good bargain. Can’t find 100 nymph hooks around where I live for less than 10$
