This work light has all the features I wanted:* Very bright, could be underrated at 3000 lumens* Excellent battery capacity with six 18650 cells (the batteries I received were rated at 1200 mAH each)* Batteries can be charged with a USB micro connector, or replaced with my own fully-charged 18650 batteries.* Convenient USB-A charging port to charge my cell phone.* Weather-rated aluminum case* Stable and sturdy welded steel base and steel handle* Lamp has full 360-degree freedom of movement, both vertically and horizontally. Many higher-priced work lights have cases that block them from rotating downward, which prevents you from mounting the lamp above you and directing light down on the work area. An elevated position keeps that super-bright beam of light on your work and out of your eyes.The 80 SMDs appear to be type 5630 or 5730, both of which have nominal ratings of 0.5 watts and 40 lumens at 3.3 volts. An 18650 battery operates at about 3.7 volts, which would cause the SMDs to run a little brighter and consume a little more power.So the output power appears to be at least (0.5 x 80 LEDs =) 40 watts for the SMDs, and the output power of the COB (circuit on board) LED in the center of the lamp is stated to be 20 watts.(Bear in mind that the 5630 has a lot of cheap knock-offs out there that do not meet the 5630 ratings. Anyone, even the fine folks at Tresda, could be victimized.)If the SMDs are 5630s then the illumination is at least (40 lumens x 80 LEDs =) 3,200 lumens. I found no information on the illumination from the COB LED, but if 40 watts gets me 3,200 lumens, then another 20 watts might get me around 1,600 lumens.For the purpose of comparing this with other LED work lights, I estimate the actual power consumption to be about 60 watts, and the illumination to be around 4,800 lumens. I would welcome a correction from Tresda, but I think it is safe to give this work light a rating of "Zowie Wow Wow!" at the very least. I would not contradict those folks who are in the "Zowie Wow Wow Wow!" camp. They are good people.Note about 18650 batteries: They are a great battery. The included 1200 mAH batteries have almost twice the electrical capacity of a 2000 mAH Eneloop size AA NiMH battery (4,400 mWH vs 2,400 mWH). The 18650 delivers its current at 3.7 volts, while the NiMH AA battery delivers current at a miniscule 1.2 volts, the curse of the NiMH. 1.2 volts is not enough to illuminate anything.18650 batteries can be purchased with reliable ratings up to 3,500 mAH, with a capacity of (3.7V x 3500mAH =) 12,950 mWH. The 3.7V rating is what allows this work light to be designed so it can function with only 1 battery, albeit for less than 1 hour.Many 18650 batteries claim to have capacities of 4,000, 5,000, even 9,000 mAH or more. I have bought many, and my XTAR VC4 battery charger says they are all filthy liars. The included batteries have a much lower rating but at least they are not filthy, stinking liars. So very filthy. None of them worthy of this excellent work light.

General use at home & camping. Good quality, nice size.

I've used this light for several projects and, as long as you remember to charge it, it works quite well. It can be be used for several hours on battery and also works while plugged in. The included cable is somewhat short, but it's USB C, so I had longer ones. I wish it had come with a type-C wall adapter because I only have one of those for all my C-to-C devices, but you can also use a USB-A to USB-C to charge it.My only other problem with it is the buttons. For some reason, one button is used to switch between the 8 or so different white light modes in sequence and the other button is dedicated to just a police-style red and blue flashing strobe. I'm sure this is there for a reason, but I don't see why it needs it's own button when it could be part of the cycle. Make the other button power off the light from any mode instead of making us switch through the modes until we get to 'off'.

First, it comes disassembled, which you might expect, but the unexpected thing is that the carrying handle on top is about an inch or two too wide for the bottom stand. That means you have to bend in the handle to make it fit. It wasn't hard to bend, but I didn't expect to have to alter parts to get them to fit. The screw-knobs take some force to get them started into the screw holes too.I charged the light fully as indicated by 4 bars on the battery indicator and used it on its brightest setting for 15-20 minutes. That reduced the battery by half (2 bars), so I'd expect 30-40 minutes total on the brightest setting.All of that said, it's decently bright with a good spread of light. I used it to do some work under my truck and it was quite effective.

The screws are metal with hard plastic knobs. It does have a strong plastic cover for light. The base doesn’t tighten enough but it is beneficial for moving in the direction you want it and it is workable.My experience is great light, it may not deliver the lumens they advertise but the light is bright for many working tasks. So far it is working fine and I would buy it again if it doesn’t have any issues in the days ahead. The batteries work fine and you can replace them but must be 1200 mAH rated not higher.
