WHAT IS A TIE ROD END? A tie rod end (also known as a tie rod) is part of your vehicle’s steering system - it ties various steering components together to allow your wheels to turn. Tie rod ends are built with a ball-and-socket design, just like your hip, and need to be replaced as they wear out. A worn tie rod end causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Good quality. Clamp was shipped separate, so you have to install. Why? Why not install the clamp at the factory. The clamp was missing its clasp, and did not work. Had to use a hose clamp. Contacted company and they made it right, thanks! Made in Taiwan.

I ordered 2 of these after some good reviews. I like them they are quality with nice boots and black finish. I donâ€™t understand why I received a sealed version and a greasable version though. Hence 3 Stars because I will probably order more proforged parts but hopefully I get matching parts.

PROFORGED is total JUNK...Rebuilt my entire front end suspension. The only Proforged parts were the inner tie rods. In 6 months they went bad....I called pro forged because parts are under warranty. The old man cs rep said, well call amazon and do a replacement. Amazon only does replacments for 30 days. Amazon isnt in charge of you 1,000,000 mile warrenty.Shady company, junk parts. Stick with ACDelco.Two $30 parts has now cost me $600 in tires plus time to replace with better parts.
