Sometimes you just need the angle to get the socket on

Tends to cause the socket to jump if you are trying to use more than about 25% of the range, but overall functional in most situations where you would use a regular one.

Used it to drill out a close quarters kitchen faucet set screw. Upon delivery it felt cheap and ran roughly, but after running for a while it feed up and ran fine.
