How to Use
You can cut the appropriate length cord for restringing, hang some weights off the cords at least overnight to reduce the likelihood that the cord develops a twist in the mechanism of the blind, providing smooth operation of the pull and release.
Warm Note:
- The maximum weight for the rope resist is 54 kg (120 lb), please use it in the bearing limits;
- Under normal circumstances, the length be 109 yards in whole piece, some may have a joint in it.

Bought this cord to replace the original cord in my 2†faux wood blinds. The original cord frayed and would bind in the lifting mechanism. This cord worked perfectly: the correct size, fit, color, and much stronger than the original.

We have so many mini blinds that are in great shape except for the cords used to raise and lower. Some cords seem to be more of a cotton blend of some sort that have frayed over time and others are just worn and dirty after all the years of use. This cord has worked incredibly well and functions just like new. Replacing the cords goes fairly quick. I removed the blinds from their brackets and put small clamps to hold them high enough up on a latter to give me the right working height. I made a very small knot tying the end of the new cord to the end of the old one at the end of the plastic pull. I just slowly pull the new cord through the locking device and through the channel then out the other end and through the holes in the blinds tying it off at the bottom. Then I just cut and reuse the plastic pull when I have it to a normal length. Done! The nice strong clean cords make such a huge improvement then the yellowed dirty ones and the blinds work just like new or in some cases better than the old cheaper cords. Would highly recommend this cord replacement. The only other thing I did was to use a lighter to keep the ends from unraveling. I will definitely be purchasing more of this as I have a bunch of blinds that need new cords in my shop.

I just got this so I cannot rate durability or some other review categories. All I can say is that it appears to be the type braid, diameter, and material properties for my needs in replacing roll down shade cords.

I was uncertain how to determine the size of the cord. My calipers weren't much help because they just squished the cord. They showed a really easy way to figure out. Go around a stick 10 wraps and measure the distance the wraps cover. In my case I need 1.4m. It appears to be good strong cord, it was easy to work with. I was able to find an identical blind on google and the guy explained how to take it apart, re-cord it and put it back together. Only took about 30 minutes. Blind works great. The 109 yards gives me enough cord I can now go into business! Cord came right away and was exactly as described.

Seems like the lift cords on today’s mini blinds never last very long. I didn’t not see the sense in spending a lot of money for a replacement when all that is wrong is the lift cord. This cord fit the bill and works perfect.

I use this to make Roman Blinds, it is strong doesn’t stretch and quite frankly lasts forever, less than 10p per metre that is cheaper than I have found it in the shops.

Purchased this to replace worn cords in two venetian blinds (1" metal horizontals). The blind would droop on one side when locked in place. The original cord was 1.6 mm.The new 1.4 mm cord works fine, it was a quick fix, about 10 minutes per cord. Lots of how to videos online. I used a few stitches to tie the old cord to the new cord to pull thru the blind.The venetian works like new! Very pleased.
