I probably should of ordered tubing that was a little wider (larger ID) for my guitar stand [tubing replacement].What I found helpful was to put some Vaseline on the metal bar and a little in the tubing. However, that alone wasn't good enough to [easily] slide it on. The trick turned out to be: when sliding the tube on, pinch the tubing (about 1" beyond the bar) and the trapped/compressed air will assist in gliding the tubing onto the bar.

Doesn't stretch out as far as it should. when pulling it apart, it tends to run out of stretch and stop only a few inches per each foot of length. overall, cheap product. look for better tubing if you are needing more stretch.

I replace two slingshot rubber bands. This type of rubber band. Just doesn’t have enough stretch or give. Maybe for some other type of use. It might be usable. But not to be used as a slingshot rubber band replacement.
