I have to admit that I didn't expect much for an unknown brand's C-Clamp locking pliers, but it turns out, they seem to be pretty good. The first thing I noted when I took it out of the package is that it was heavier than I expected. It doesn't seem like the cut corners to save money by making it thinner or narrower than appropriate. The screw operates pretty cleanly. It's a little rough, but that's not unusual with many of the non-brand name pliers, and they get better with use. Everything seems fitted well, though the release lever seems to have a little more play side to side than I'd like, but it doesn't affect its performance. It says it's made out of alloy steel, and that can mean anything. I assume if it was something noteworthy, such as Cr-V, they'd call it out. The finish seems good enough. Overall, a pretty good locking C-Clamp. It's functional without any noteworthy deficiencies that I could find, so at the right price, I think it's a good selection if you need one.

I thought that at his price the item would fall apart when put to the test. These held my work strongly enough for me to weld, keeping the positions stable and secure. The feet at the end rotate easily to align with the surface of the work and clamp flat against that surface. They release nicely too. The lever to release it does not need excessive force to release, yet is quite securely held in place so that bumping it will not cause it to suddenly release: It makes me feel confident that I can keep something in place with something I can rely on and not need to worry that it could fail from any unforeseen force bumping into it. I did not have a clamp like this and was using c-clamps and other clamps that were not as easy to use as this. This really does make my life easier with faster set up and ease of adjustment.

A really fine "C" clamp vice grip, holds tight, made good. This is a good set of "C" clamp vice grips, the adjustment knob is tight which I like, it doesn't tend to backoff and loosen up then fall off. The grip pads are nice and flat and grip strong without sliding off when in place. I would have no second thought about buying more of these clamps, with the way this one works, they are worth the money.

Received item already broken. Pliers are very cheaply made. Clamps wouldn’t open when the handle was released. Do not recommend.
