Purchased these 89mm U-pipe clamps to secure 3-inch schedule 40 pipe which has an outside diameter of 3.5 inches. The stainless steel is actually stainless via a magnet test and is 14 gauge or .071 inches as measured. The steel width is 3/4 inch. The holes are elongated, 1/4-inch x 7/16-inch for use with 1/4-inch bolts or lag screws and I used 1/4-inch washers also. Much better than others that are made out of thin tin can steel.

These are the best straps I’ve seen. They are very solid and well built. They are worth the money. They don’t flex or give and the holes have a little lateral play in them which is nice for those who need the grace.

These look great and classy and are very rigid and heavy duty hard to bend. The spec sheet showed id of 20mm but the ones I received were actually 21mm. I was clamping a .750 stainless steel tubing so there was too much play but I lined the clamp with some layers of my trusting diy go to with Gorilla tape and perfection. The holes are a great size for large screws and are elongated for adjustment. They really look clean compared to the average cheaper ones.

These u-clamps are the real deal! They are made from extra thick 304 Stainless steel. I used them to replace fatigued and broken clamps on my Can-Am Commander's poly roof. The old original clamps were thin and couldn't handle the wind and vibration and soon began breaking. I also bought heavy/thick heat shrink to go over the metal to add some cushion between the roll bar and the clamps. These should stand the test of time!

A bit more expensive but worth it for the durability. The holes are larger than expected, but this is not really an issue since you can add small washers for smaller screws and no need to drill out if you'd prefer to mount with larger screws.

This company makes VERY high quality products. I have used the 4" size and they are very heavy duty. The 2 1/2" size ordered were marked on the package as that size, but contained 3" size.Be careful if using the drop down box on the Amazon product page if selecting the size you want as 2 1/2" size. It is listed as 2 1/2", but 76mm (which is 3"). The title if selecting this size says, "5 PCS 76mm Heavy Duty U-Pipe Strap Clamp-2 Hole,Stainless Steel-304 Rigid U-Bracket Pipe Clamp Hanger Fastener ID 2-1/2 Inch"Not all of us are familiar with mm sizes. You should be ordering the 2 31/64" size 63mm for the 2 1/2" size you want. The chart image on the product page lists it correctly as 2 63/64" as 76mm, but not in the drop down list that you order from.PLEASE BUY FROM THIS SELLER. OUTSTANDING QUALITY!!
