if these were to be used on a boat console or on the dash of a garden tractor,.. where the dash was in open sun then this light is bright enough to be seen in that circumstance. i used the green ones for turn signal indicators in a car, they work great but are very much too bright. At night they make me squint when they flash, but i am still giving it five stars because they are well made.

Nice and bright but the wires are fairly small which can be tricky to strip without damaging the actual wires. Other than that, they are awesome little LEDs and work great as turn signal and high beam indicators in my truck. They also have little O-rings included which makes for a nice looking installation.

You need a 6mm bit or a 15/64 bit for the hole. The 15/64 is a couple of thousandths small, so you'll need 30 seconds of file work. The bezel has almost no lip, so hole size is critical. The rubber o-ring is supposed to go between the bezel and the surface you are mounting it on. I didn't like the way the o-ring made the bezel stand off of the mounting surface, so I used silicone caulk under the bezel and wiped off the excess with denatured alcohol while the caulk was wet. The threaded collars that came with mine were a little big. I made them the slightest bit oval with pliers and used Loctite to keep them in place.

I bought four of these for a display board, expecting that at this low price point a few would not work, but all 40 worked! Good brightness and a snap to install. Will buy again if I need to expand my display

These are easy to mount and quite bright. A 1/4" bit will work, although a smaller metric drill would be ideal. They are more solid than some light assemblies that are little more than LEDs with a series resistor wrapped in heat-shrink tubing.
