About this item

  • 【ALLOY STEEL MATERIAL】: Gunpla drill bits set forged from premium ALLOY STEEL quality, glass drill bits provide smooth, accurate drilling in ceramic tile, marble, mirrors, glass, aluminum, concrete and wood. The durable drill bit must be kept well lubricated for the best possible results. This is most commonly done by running water over the drilling surface
  • 【DIMENSION】: Designed with a 6mm Spear-pointed Tip, the multi material drill bits have a 1/4 inches design that reduces breakout. Length: 70mm, Shank: approx. 3/16 inches. Our spear head drill bits are heavy duty, meant to serve for a very long time.
  • 【APPLICATION】: Ideal for drilling ceramic tiles, glass, marble, and mirrors. When drilling hard materials, please use water for lubrication, good cooling can extend the service life of the drill bit. The glass drill bits are typically used with electric drills to create holes in all these cited material
  • 【TUNGSTEN CARBIDE TIP】: The ceramic drill bit feature a Tungsten carbide tip for extended bit efficiency and life. During the process of drilling, the coating rubs away the glass, creating a perfect hole in the material being drilled
  • 【WHAT YOU GET】: The package includes 10pcs 6mm glass and tile drill bits and a plastic storage box, easy to carry. The multi construction glass bits are smooth, straight and has an ideal texture

Product Description

Gunpla bits are made of high quality alloy steel and have well-built heavy-duty tungsten carbide tips. Our fashioned carbide-tipped drill bits are most commonly used for non-tempered glass, ceramics and tiles. They feature a tiny spade-shaped tip made of super-hard tungsten carbide, which is extremely durable and can withstand the friction of drilling into glass. Drill bits are cutting tools used to remove material to create holes, almost always of circular cross-section.

Power Drill Use

2

Attach the drill bits to any compatible drill in order to create holes, which will power them to cut or perforate through the most hard work piece, typically by rotation. It is important to work carefully and safely by wearing gloves and protective eye wear to make sure no glass shards that break off affects you. Use a liquid to lubricate the drilling process and to keep the drill bit from overheating.

4
Sturdy Shank

Holds perfectly in the drill power tool and increases accuracy in cutting.

Heavy-Duty tungsten carbide tips

Strong and durable carbide-tipped head to ensure use with hard to break or penetrate surfaces.

Size

Each drill bit measures 70mm in full length, with a tungsten carbide orange top designed to ease perforation. With 15mm length, these drill bits' tungsten carbide tips will perforate material easily with little effort needed. The tip measures 6mm in width.

These are fantastic for the price. I’m a professional tile contractor and I drill holes for glass enclosures and grab bars etc. I find that one bit is good for 2-4 holes depending on the hardness of the material. These work best with higher speed and lower pressure and critically they must be kept cool. I use a plastic water bottle with a small hole drilled in the lid to run water on the bit as it’s cutting. I’m disappointed that they aren’t available now.

So, I'm drilling a bunch of holes for safety railing in a shower, all the way around. LOTS of holes. Drilling into ceramic tile. I've got Bosch and Irwin bits and they seem to last one hole (maybe) and then their performance is crap. So I saw these and rather than $6 or $15 each, at 10/$11 ($1 a bit) I could afford to burn one per hole. But Dang! ONE bit lasted FIVE (5) holes before I decided to switch it out. I am beyond impressed. None of the "name brand" bits I have were this good.

I used these for drilling holes in porcelain tiles after drilling an 1/8" hole. They do cut through pretty well. Keep the bit cool and you shouldn't have any issues. The head did break off after drilling a couple holes. So I would cautiously recommend this product

These worked really well for drilling mounting holes into ceramic tile. When using these to drill holes, use a new bit for EACH HOLE. Otherwise you risk having a tiny chip in the tungsten-carbide cutting flute, and it won’t work as well.Thankfully, these bits are inexpensive. I went through several bits on the job I was doing, but I didn’t crack any tiles, and the holes were nice and clean.Great value and great results. All I could ask for.

Work great on regular ceramic tile but when trying to drill porcelain tile wore out 5 bits for 4 holes. Not much better than what I can grab at Lowes.

First of all if your posting about these boys breaking so easy it’s BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE THEM,• Drill in normal settings•Keep off the Hammer drill settings• Take a break off of them a few seconds in and cool down the tip by dipping them in water or such•Control Your Hand Pressure don’t dig in to the product you’re drilling into•Let the Drill do all the work No Need to Press down on the drill - Follow these steps and you’ll do great when drilling into tile!

MFG claimed these are good for ceramic tile and many other materials. I have never, in my 80 years, ever bought a worse tool and I have at least 60 years experience working with many kinds of tools. Even some really cheap tools. I inserted a bit into my drill driver and started drilling a 15/64" hole in tile. I didn't count the drills revolutions but I'd say maybe 30 to 50 when the bit cutting tip broke. Not a good start but drilling into this kind of material is hard on tools. So I inserted a new bit and finished the hole. Upon inspection I found the second bit was very badly worn. I finished the twelve holes I had to drill using a total of 8 bits. Definitely not good. Brand name is Gunpla. For twelve bucks I normally wouldn't return this but I'm so angery that that is just what I did.

These are cheap quality but…. They are cheap enough to toss after a use or two per bit
