I admit that I got these bars only for the copper ones, the zinc is dull and feels . . . dry. Anyhow, I can't penalize this set for delivering exactly what was advertised.I plan to use the copper bars in a beautiful sculptural assemblage. I'm unsure what to do with the zinc, if nothing else they can be used to pin together pieces of wood or marble.

Not as pictured! Got two zinc rods but only one copper rod.

The zinc rods are good for making sacrificial anodes to protect other metals, like aluminum, from galvanic corrosion. The copper rods make excellent electrical contact and parts the must conduct electricity well, such as the tips for welding clamps etc.
