...Like the coxa servos in my hexapod robots. The typical plastic servo horns work very well - if the programmer knows what they're doing. But when I was learning to program the robot, I kept stripping-out the splines on the plastic horns. After installing these, I no longer had problems stripping-out splines. In hindsight, it was probably good that the plastic horns would strip their splines rather than burning out servos while a user is learning to program, but these were going to be needed anyway if the robot was expected to "push" things.

They came just as expected. Perfect fit and functioned perfectly straight out of the box. I would definitely buy them again.

was well constructed and well machined but when in place on the shaft of the servo had a small amount of slip which translated to a small wabble. In most applications this would be ok but for my application this translated to a "more than one step Indeterminant positioning". Meaning the position of the servo was indeterminant (rotated a tiny bit on the teeth of the horn/shaft coupling) by more than one step so trying to "exactly position" is difficult if using them. Even with the securing center screw fully torqued down. The fix would be to "Lock Tite" the servo horn onto the shaft of the servo but this would be a permanent thing. The "servo horns" I have seen fit closer were the black plastic ones, which often had to be pried off once on the shaft but could be removed. They would hold the exact position commanded of the servo (without slipping a tiny amount). But they are nowhere near as strong.

These work perfectly and are well made. The fit is excellent and the threaded holes are all clean and easy to attach to with the provided screws. I am using these with LX-16A servos which share the gears and spline with the mg995/996

The materials don’t feel very strong, and the mounting holes are odd dimensions. Make sure you know what you’re buying and what you need. Not the product’s fault that I didn’t, these can definitely be used in the right application.

I bough these to replace the plastic horns that come with the Hiwonder LX-16A servos. These fit pretty well. Eight of the ten were nice and snug with no perceptible play between the horn and the servo spline. The other two had just a tiny bit of play. Not really a problem for most applications.Good quality for the price.

Received quickly. I have used 5 already, put 2 more sets in Amazon cart. These fit FEETech FS5103R and my no-name servos. Standard size servos, NOT 9g micro Servos. Quite impressed with the quality and quick shipping. I have used 5 already with no issues at all. Threads are M3, and seem to be tapped well. the Mechanical print is correct, 14MM spacing on M3 tapped holes and 20MM diameter. Thank you.

These servo horns are made of cheap cast pot metal. They are heavier and not as strong as real aluminum servo horns. Do not buy these.
