My primary use is for baiting Crawfish traps. Holds anything you can think of. Fish, chicken, liver etc. My state allows 5 traps per person so the amount 10, is perfect, fish 5, and re-load the other 5 so you can always have fresh bait ready to go.I use a large safety pin to attach it to the trap only because the reloading of the bait cage goes faster.I can see why using it for catfish / carp fishing would be good but that’s not my interest.Came when promised, will last for years.

totally dislike . Don’t buy it. i buy last time product is really bad. Its broke top of line. all of them same problem . just waste of money.

I have not used them but I would say they will work great for crab bait traps. I will soon find out. Like toadd there well made and very reasonably priced.
