Just like many other reviewers the tire was difficult to install on the wheel:1. Heated in the microwave about 3 mins.2. Soap on the tire/rim a must3. After removing the wheel and disassembling I stood on the wheel (part w/o motor) and used a screw driver to pry the tire on to the rim. At some point it popped. This part was hard.4. Had to use clamps (see photos) to get the tire on the other side of the wheel and screw the wheel back together. Lining up the screw holes was actually easier than I thought it would be. Recommend taking off the brake disc during this step. I ended up bending mine slightly. This step was very difficult.5. Putting the cable back on was the most challenging step. I didn’t have pliers which would have been helpful. Matching up the arrows and getting enough leverage to get the cable back together was … frustratingI would say I’m average when it comes to being a “home engineer “ or handyman… this install was really difficult.

These tires were insanely difficult to install. I am a large, mechanically inclined guy with plenty of tools and rarely (never) gets stymied or frustrated with something as simple as this should have been..The only real instructions it came with said to search uTube for “Ninebot scooter solid tubeless tire replacementâ€, which did not link to the (or any) manufactures video but just random nice people out there who have created and posted their own videosSo basically there was no thought or effort at all given to providing their own instructions and they just leverage other people‘s work which is a cheap and unethical tactic as best.I searched through several videos before finding one that was specifically for the Segway Ninebot and was actually helpful. Even in the videos where the poster had obviously replaced these tires before it did not look easy, most used atleast 2 people, always big guys, no dainty ones who still fought and grunted to get the new tire in place.I followed the instructions I found on uTube to a T and still made no progress (except a lot of cursing) for nearly an hour trying to get this mounted. I boiled it as instructed and still it would not fit. I boiled it and then used my heat gun and still could not mount it. I finally recruited three other family members to assist and we finally got it mounted but the outside of the rim was significantly dented and scratched all over, all the nice looking orange paint strip was nearly destroyed so it looks pretty beat up now. This was only the back tire, given the difficulty and damage to to the back tire and rim I don’t think I will even consider replacing the front tire where the motor is in the hub of the tire. Finally, despite the width measurement of 2.125 specified by Segway and this product says the size is 10x2.25 there is about a 1/8†gap between the tire sidewall and the rim bead and does not engage at all with the bead. This gives the tire enough play when turning it feels like a Normal tire thats low on air. I actually worry a bit that in a sharp turn it might allow the tier to dismount or â€peel†itself off the rim on its own which is almost unbelievable considering the difficulty of mounting it..I know the benefit of not worrying about flat tires is enticing but I am not sure it is worth the frustration and cosmetic damage to the rim that results from the install.YMMV - Litterally ;-)

Installation is not easy unless you have pro tools, like shop clamps, etc. They should have a video showing how the average person can do it, but it's a, sturdy good tire once you do get it on.I attached a picture on how it finally worked for us. You need two people. The stronger holds it like a clamp. The other uses the tool provided plus a solid flathead screwdriver. Once we did it this way it snapped right on.We also followed the other directions, heating it in the microwave and put ample wd40 on. I also stepped on it using the wall as support to bend it a little. This is how we were successful. It is going to frustrate you, but it only took us an hour total, but once we changed tactics, maybe 3 minutes. Fits tight and looks good. ðŸ‘

My som kept popping his d18 scooter I tried to install myself by boiling in water but I wasnt able too. But i brought it to a shop who microwaved it and put the tube on. Works good for my sons scooter good replacement for the tube that keeps popping. Looks good. Great value for money and more durable than the original tire.

I installed these on the front of a mobility scooter for someone. At first I struggled with install but after watching a youtube video they went on without much issue. Tire tread seems to be very durable which was the main reason we went with the solid tires.

I put these tires on Ninebot Segway F25, they fit well, but the installation was extremely hard and tricky. It would have been a bit easier if the supplier shipped two tire irons instead of one.Ride becomes extremely stiff after putting them on! Considering going back to old tires, but dreading the installation.

Fitted this to my sons Hiboy S2 pro. It is important to make sure the internal width of the tyre fits your wheel. We spent 2 hours trying to fit another tyre which was too big.The tyre came with a tyre spoon/iron.We boiled the tyre in water for 15 minutes, used dish soap around the wheel and while hot fitted using tire irons/spoons from Dr Roc. 3 hands helps a great deal.Overall 20 minutes to fit including boiling time. Fast delivery high quality, no complaints. This will not be easy if you don’t have tyre irons/spoons and don’t boil the tyre before install.
