I use these for cleaning wheel hubs when doing rotor replacements, they work very well and clean great. I also use them to "de-glaze" brake rotors if I am only replacing the pads. They scratch up the surface well and allow the new pads to mate well (bed) with an old rotor. I have used these for cleaning caliper bracket bolt areas and other rusted / corroded metals with good success. They are very coarse so use caution when cleaning with them.The only downside is the spindle seems a little flimsy but is working fine so far. I have other spindles these will work on so no worries. Also, add a little Loctite when assembling the spindle to keep things together.

At first, these work great, but the materials wears down very quickly. Also, depending on the power of the drill you are using, they don't stay attached to the spindle very well (they are made so that a single spindle inserts into the drill, then each piece will screw into that spindle to keep from having to change the drill each time one needs replacing -- which is too often in my opinion. The larger one worked better but still wore down more quickly than the pricier counterparts -- get what you pay for, I guess.

I have some rust on the front of the hood on my Jeep. Tried these discs and they work really good. Got all the rust off and down to bare metal. I tried various types and sizes of wire brushes with my drill, but they took too long and didn't do the job as well.

These things are impressive and do an awesome job at stripping paint off a 23 year old deck. They don’t clog and for the job I did, I only needed one. It never wore down and was exactly the same size as the new ones in the package when I was done with job.

The photos in the listing clearly identify the spindle as part of the package, but it is NOT included. The discs are useless without it.
