I had installed one of these about a year or so ago and had good luck. It fit the pinion very nice with very little play with a ID of roughly 34mm. Nice fit. When I received this one it was a bit bigger and fit kind of sloppy on the pinion. I called Ratech and explained my issue and they said it would still work but I just grunted it out torquing the regular style. I just wasn't comfortable with how it fit. Not sure why they changed the size the older one fit perfect. This was on a Ford 8.8.
