This ladle is to replace a much older one that broke. I've always preferred Melamine for this kind of usage, and this product does not disappoint. The shape and size are just right, the color is pleasing and the price is great. Done.

Been looking for a shorter ladle that will not stain and this fit the bill.Plastic is hard and has a sheen to it which is easy to clean.

I got this to replace the one my mom’s been using for the last 20 years. She loves how it is designed and didn’t want to replace it because she loved it so much. (It was still going strong but was a bit stained.) I found this one and surprised her with it, it’s identical. Well-designed, well-made.

I like the ladle. I didn't like the price, but I was willing to pay 3 times the value to get another ladle that didn't have a top-heavy handle. I hate all kitchen utensils with top-heavy handles because they tend to fall out of smaller pots and make a doggone mess! I recommend only if you understand to issue with top-heavy handles.

Perfect portion size. I own nice Cutco, but I still grab this one a lot.

Would be nice if the actual scoop of the ladle was bigger

I needed a ladle to complete my antique tureen. The original was bone china from the 1930s and is impossible to replace. Considering the fragility of antiques, I opted to get a plastic-type ladle that appears very similar to the original. It works fine--and I don't have to worry about it chipping my tureen!

Did take a few weeks to arrive but they did advise that at the time. It is a bit pricy for a melanite ladle, but was trying to replace to a similar one I had for many years that I regret throwing away as it got discolored over time. I like that it is a one piece so more hygienic and no place for food and liquids to get trapped. Like the color and slight curve to it, lightweight to handle....my only disappointment it that I wish it had been just a bit longer for taller pots, or offer a taller size.
