First one wouldn't extend after about three years of use. I bought a new one, since it still seems like the best option for installing lights on a one story house. However, for the higher peaks, the pole still bends a lot, and so I have to use a 6" ladder to get the leverage I need.

The clips that come with this pole are extremely hard to hook and they don’t hold very good,, the plus side is , I didn’t have to climb a ladder, but they’re already sagging

This will come in handy for more than hanging lights. I already used it to help put a tarp over a shed, and to fish for a few things out of my reach. I also pulled down some branches to trim too. Great product, hope it lasts till Christmas!

The telescoping pole came apart and I am unable to put the two pieces together again. Would like a solution.

Does the job for use. This has made hanging lights on smaller trees a snap.
