The thread die measures Ø2.550 and will not fit a standard 2.500 die holder. After making a custom holder seems to cut well.

The die is exactly as described and I found it to be easy starting and clean cutting. It also cut threads that fit well with other items threaded commercially to this pitch and diameter. Very nice tool and should last a hobbiest a lifetime and a small jobs shop a very long time.Bottom line good quality and works well.
