Easy to use since I haven't got the hang of soldering

I am not an electrician but know enough. When looking at the description I thought these would do the job however they don't. I have led light strip adhered to the back of my tv in a rectangle. I thought I needed connectors and wire to make the 90 deg. corners. When I applied these they didn't transmit any power. I cut them off (losing an led on each end), took them apart and examined the led strip end of the connector and the piece of led strip attached. It was placed correctly, but I installed the connector right side up where the prongs had to penetrate the led strip plastic to get to the copper pads. So I turned them upside down and reinstalled so that the prongs were coming directly in contact with the copper pads, still nothing. So I cut them off again and examined the led strip and it was contacting the copper pads. So I disassembled the wire side of the clip and pulled the wires out. The prongs couldn't penetrate the insulation of the wire (provided with the kit). I then stripped the wires but found it impossible to put the wires into the clip reliably. So with this I am returning for credit. Poor design or was furnished with the wrong wire. Either way I am going to replace the led strip and do the fold and turn method to make my 90 degree corners and not cut the strip itself.

I had a extremely hard time connecting the led strip to the connectors, no so the to the wire side. Not being a very manual dude, i was expecting the connection to be a lot easier but the good thing was they worked.

4 stars given because this product does exactly what it says it does. BEWARE this is not 'easy' for a 'plug and play' solution. The most difficult part is getting a feel for where the LED strip should fit within the coupling - as well as the wires. At first glance it should be straight forward and easy (I read other reviews and thought, eh, they must be novices) - not so. Once you get it working, however, they work great. LISTEN FOR THE CLICK when pushing down the clasps, use needle nose pliers to assist you. I initially thought i wasted 3 because they were closed all the way - but you can open them again gently on the sides with the pliers. You will most likely sacrifice some pixels getting the hang of it - use the end of the strip and not the beginning on your first experiment. There is also the matter of false advertisement, as I received 9 clasps (like other reviews) and not 11. I will be purchasing more for future products.

The wire side of the connector is great, however, the LED strip will fail to make contact. as it tries to pierce thru the strip. One way I was able to make it work was folding the strip so the contacts would touch the metal connectors.They were a royal pain to get working. Glad I only needed 4 connectors. And of course a few broke from opening them multiple times as the LED strip would fail to make contact, or only two of the three would work.

Bought this to customize an led light ribbon to fit under cabinets. Not easy at all! Most connectors just don't work, probably because they are so hard to line up correctly. Caused the led light strip to blink, only partially work, or not light at all. Tried to return, but it was not worth the expense. After 3 HOURS we gave up and ordered a rope light instead
