I stripped the aluminum threads out of my motorycles m16 size oil drain. I wanted to keep my OEM plug/size so I used this kit to rethread it. I did use bolt cutters to cut the coil in half (was too long) and I used jb steel weld on the outside of the coil.Note, these drill bits are likely larger than your drill chuck. I ended up buying a chuck adapter which I placed on my drill like a socket. I also had a standard (1/4?) Tap. I took a socket over the thread tap and used a reducer to fit it into the tap.

Drill bit snapped 1/3rd way trough the first hole. Then once fished that, found they send the wrong tap for the thread coil.
