As an art teacher, I am always on the lookout for durable and inexpensive products. Another art teacher turned me on to these watercolors. They are very good. I like that the colors look as you would expect and not some weird wishy-washy neutral. I will only use these from now on. They are great value for money.

I purchased these for my daughters virtual birthday party. Since it was virtual I had to provide a full paint set to each guest. I chose this kit for 3 reasons:1. It contains white, which was needed for the snowy scene the kids were painting.2. I needed a lot of paint without breaking the bank and this set was affordable.3. It was well reviewed.I’m happy with my purchase. For the purpose of a 10-year-old’s birthday party, these kits were perfect. There was enough paint for the guests to complete their project and then some. Many of the kids have continued to create with this set since the party and that makes me happy.I’m sure you can find better quality of water colors out there, but at this value, these are a winner.

For some reason, my wife has purchased other kinds of non-washable paint for the kids to paint. While I have many pretty pictures in my office, it is also very messy.As other reviewers said, the colors in this set are very impressive. They are not washed out at all.I liked that each kid could have their own set (I have ten kids), and that they came with a brush. This was a great value. It was out of stock when I first found them, but I am glad I waited for them to come back. A great value.

Chosen due to turq & hot pink addition. We know you can't get those from Red, Yellow & blue.Fortunately the blue here in the palette is more of acyan which is truer to proper color mixing.You can see the two palettes created with this set from only the two sets of primaries.Seeing this, is going to help someone make a decision. THE ARTWORK (if u can see it) is original and done on card-stock & with these paints.

Good colors and saturation for $1.46!! I will use these with a group of elementary students to paint their own compositions, experiment mixing colors to learn beginning color theory, and to paint coloring books if they wish. For $1.46 you get 12 colors that include a dark and light green (sap/leaf and turquoise) and a dark and light blue (cerulean and cobalt). There's a rose red (alizarin crimson) and a pink. Yellow, orange, purple, brown, and a dark black read the same as Crayola's 8 pack of crayons. The brush is serviceable for small areas and details. If the pan lasts through 5-10 projects, that is very good! I'm definitely pleased and hope the children enjoy some new watercolors.
