This pair of 12" hacksaw blades fits my standard hacksaw frame, and appears to be very good quality. The bi-metal blade material gives flexibility and resists breaking, and the HSS (high-speed-steel) material should mean the teeth will stay sharp if the blades are used properly. (Heed the classic advice: Don't apply undue pressure during cutting; instead "Let the saw do the work." Your cuts will be smoother, the saw teeth will remain sharp longer--and you will have a happier life!)I ordered the 24TPI version, for general use--but they are also available in 18 or 32 TPI--and in an assortment of all three!

As a member of Amazon Vine, I ordered this hacksaw blade set for evaluation. Given my extensive experience with metal fabrication, I felt well-equipped to provide feedback. Here are my observations based on actual usage.This set includes three blades with different teeth per inch (TPI) specifications: 18, 24, and 32. The variety in TPI offers broad coverage, as different blades are suitable for different materials and thicknesses:**Coarse Grade (14-18 TPI):** Suitable for mild steel, brass, copper, and aluminum.**Medium Grade (20-24 TPI):** Works well with cast iron, high-carbon steel, brass, and aluminum.**Fine Grade (24-30 TPI):** Ideal for thin metal sheets.**Superfine Grade (30-32 TPI):** Great for solid metals and very thin sheets.I conducted sample cuts on various materials, and the results were promising. While it's difficult to assess the durability of the blades without prolonged use, the initial performance matches that of name-brand offerings.Overall, my experience with these hacksaw blades has been very favorable, and I have encountered no disappointments. I installed one of these blades on my high-tension hacksaw frame and tested it by cutting a 5/16†bolt. It cut the bolt easily, with very little effort. With HSS teeth, I expect this blade to stay sharp a long time. Recommended.

Fits perfectly and works well! Not sure if it's more durable than other brands, but it seems to be at least as durable. I'd buy again!

These blades are great. I rarely need to use my hacksaw, but when I do I only had a 32TPI blade. While it absolutely worked on everything I needed it for, it was unnecessarily wearing down the blade on improper materials and sometimes was a strain to cut materials that needed a coarser blade.I was able to use these blades on things like plastic pipe and thin aluminum bar, and never had any problems. It’s much easier to use the right tool for the right job, down to the blade on that tool.

These blades fit perfectly onto our standard Hack Saw and have proven to be excellent quality.The blade has stayed sharp over the few months that we have been using the one installed so feel they will give a long life.They have a nice fine tooth making them perfect for lots of jobs

I thought my old hacksaw blade (never changed in about 3 years) was doing ok but was pretty amazed at the difference once I tried these blades. My old one was clearly quite blunt!These have been excellent for helping cut off a bunch of nails when I was repairing a fence last weekend as well as cutting up sections of PVC pipe when I was replacing some guttering - for which it left nice clean cuts.These blades fit my standard hacksaw with no issues and have (so far) held their edge well. I would definitely order these again in the future but so far they show no signs that I'll need to replace them for a very long time!
