This got the job done where an electrical and a pneumatic impact failed. My complaint is that it reverses direction when you hit it. If you don't pay attention, you may inadvertently tighten a bolt rather than loosen it. Basically, after every hit, you need to check the direction which is a bit annoying. Other than that, I think it's of good enough quality for many years of hobby or handyman use and the price is right.

Ever have that random screw that you feel like you can’t get off. Yeah most likely you are missing the part where it says impact driver and get an impact drill not a driver. Usually brake retaining screws and such. Handles these like a dream and good cost point.

This unit looked like it was made nice. It even feels sturdy / heavy duty in hand. But after the first test it revealed it's design flaws. Not only did the mechanism skip on trying to drive something that wasn't even locked down tightly but the entire driving shaft locked up into the body. I thought that maybe this was the result of being new so I tapped the driving shaft so it popped back out and then tried a few more times. Every 2 or 3 strikes would lock the driver in the up position. Highly frustrating for a brand new tool. Returning.
