Love this way smaller than the last one and quiet. It work with my existing setup so installation was a breeze. Even if you have direct wiring to house (meaning no outlet under sink) it will work. I just cut the plug out and direct wired it to house.

For its price, this gets the job done, it went over pretty smooth at first, then I started running into some issues with the under the sink mount. Only thing that sucks is you have to really make sure its the correct direction or you will never get it locked into place. After the fuss, could be my own issues, but It is installed and works like a champ with no noise. Read directions carefully or you will never figure out how to get the lock washer out. Really sturdy though and for the price, I would recommend purchasing if you need a quick replacement.

The wife has been going on about wanting a disposal in our kitchen. We donรขโฌโขt have a switch wired to use it, so cutting a hole in the quartz countertop wasnรขโฌโขt a task I was looking forward to. I did end up getting a kit to do that - and add an air switch next to the sink.So, I found this and threw it in the cart. Price was a motivating factor. Not gonna lie. At 1/2 hp, I wasnรขโฌโขt expecting much. But we are on a septic system. So, we have to be careful what we throw down there anyway.Shockingly light compared to other disposals Iรขโฌโขve installed. The body seems to be made mostly of plastic, with the inner chamber of steel. Cost savings I suppose.Though Iรขโฌโขve done trim before, it didnรขโฌโขt hurt to have the directions handy. And they were a help. Slightly different install than others, but not difficult. Just needed to make sure everything went in the correct order.I will say it is VERY quiet. Though it is only 1/2 hp, it hasnรขโฌโขt bogged down in the few weeks weรขโฌโขve used it. We arenรขโฌโขt chipping logs in the thing, or cutting up anything crazy. I suspect it will last a good while, assuming we donรขโฌโขt abuse it.Donรขโฌโขt let the off brand fool you. Itรขโฌโขs every bit as good as the name brand lighter duty ones at the big box stores. At a fraction of the price.

My old one broke, and it was huge! Took up most of the space under the sink. The tevana is small quiet and super powerful. Plus the price is on point and easy to install.

Package arrived with no instructions and no paperwork, after an hour of wrestling with it I was able to get the disposal together. Very frustrating, the unit is working, so far so good. Amazon should not sell items that have been returned as new.

Went in easily and well, but you have to really understand the gasket positioning when you install it. I have done a few installations with different manufacturers and this installation mounting is a bit different. It works, and is easy, but the assembly is not "obvious". Nothing to fear...You just be more used to the metal connectors not this plastic type. It appears this product is sold under different brands. Some have this plastic connection, and some have the metal.
