I purchased this griddle in May and waited to write a review until I had used it a while. I like the short handles because they take up less real estate on an already crowded stove top and I can turn it when needed without worrying about the handles covering up my other burners. I have cooked bacon, steak, hotdogs, pancakes and eggs on it. I used it dry to toast bread. It is a nice pan with a good smooth finish, although nothing spectacular. It is like normal cast iron, it needs a liberal amount of grease to keep it non stick. When you wash it it needs to be dried and it doesn't hurt to wipe it down with an oiled paper towel, but I don't always do that and it hasn't rusted at all. The bottom is heavy enough that it doesn't warp, but it does not spread the heat from a small gas stove burner as well as a much heavier pan. All of my pans heat more in the center, but that's just the nature of our gas stove burners, they just heat a circle in the middle. Most things easily cook without sticking except bacon, but that sticks in any of my other cast iron pans too. Something about the sugar in it I suppose. It isn't bad, and a scrape with a thin metal spatula frees it up pretty quickly, unlike my other cast iron which I have to throw water in while it is hot to steam the bacon film off.One other bonus is it fits on my other Cooklife Frying pan as a lid so it can be used as a bit of a shallow dutch oven. I haven't tried it to cook pizza on yet, but that was something I really think it will do good at as it can be preheated in the oven to a good temperature before putting the pizza on it.It came in a sturdy box and the scrubby cloth was a nice bonus, it does work pretty good on all my dishes.

This is one of the best pieces of cast iron cook ware I have used. The smooth surface and pre-seasoning make this griddle significantly lower-stick than the rest of my cookware, while not sacrificing cooking performance. The rim is high enough to contain runny eggs, meat juices or the like, while still being low enough to make food easy to transfer from griddle to plate. The weight is substantial, without being too heavy. It is actually heavier than a 12" skillet I have with much deeper sides, but this added weight does not make it feel unwieldy or difficult to work with. Overall, I'd say the weight is good for this sort of product. As a nice bonus, this griddle also includes a scraper and cleaning cloth - something I have not received with previous cast iron purchases from other brands. One little quibble: the description says "these cast iron pizza pan are dishwasher safe". Even excusing the bad grammar and the fact that it is a griddle, not a pizza pan (though you certainly *could* cook a pizza on it if you wanted!), the documentation that is included with the griddle states that you should *NOT* put the pan in the dishwasher. So which is it: dishwasher safe or not? I'm going with not out of an abundance of caution.Overall, I would consider this to be an excellent option, well worth considering if you are looking for cast iron cookware.

Heavy duty and high quality. Perfect for heating up tortillas which is what I bought it for.super smooth finish. Functional handles that don’t get in the way of other pots/pans when in use. Heats up fast and evenly.

Has smooth cooking surface. Takes lot of usage and many rounds of seasoning for surface to become non-stick
