I like this easel -it is sturdy and fits on a card table easily. it is great for displaying work- I put my paintings on it and step back and get a good view of what my picture really looks like up close or at a distance.

I like that it folds up and low profile and very light. I didn't want to pay 20.00+ dollars for something I will use every now and then.

I should have paid more attention to the description that it is mainly for displaying small paintings or photos. I was actually looking for a small easel that is sturdy enough to hold a small canvas while painting.

We did a paint by numbers date night and needed something to save our backs. These have been up for a week or so and are sturdy and able to hold our art pieces. I am thinking of adding a rubber bottom to keep them from sliding on our bar top (granite), but other than that, they work well for the intended purpose.

Bought this for my son who's 8 he used it during virtual learning for his art class .. it was perfect and helped him be able to look at the screen and not miss anything while drawing.. it's easy to store and easy for him to put up on his own . He still uses it when paintimg on a canvas.. it can hold a 5x7 with no problem we haven't had any bigger canvases for him
