The Multicomp-Pro cases are sturdy and well-designed, cost much less than other brands, and perform well. I will say that the craftsmanship is not up to par with the more expensive brands (covers don’t fit quite as neatly), and I was unable to find a 3U case in a medium depth. However, they do what they are designed to do, and they stack better than one of the other, higher priced brands. Also, they have a zippered mesh lining in the rear cover that is very handy for storage of cables and accessories.

This rack is basically identical to others that I already own and have held up well. Pricing was competitive to what I could find elsewhere, and the covers fit well and latch well. Includes lots of rack mount screws which is certainly a plus. These have hinged lift up handles which I prefer over the molded handles that are on some racks.

I've worked with a lot of case companies and cases made from a variety of materials. I'm not touring, so I don't need a typical heavy plywood case with a laminate outer layer and all steel corners and edges. This light plastic and metal case is very similar to what you might get from the big names in the business for a lot less money. The construction isn't quite what I would expect from the big brands - alignment is just a bit off - but it does what it needs to do - protect my gear. The zipper pouch in the back lid is a really useful addition; I can store cables specific to the amplifier and crossover mounted in the rack. Good product.

Received the Case in a box with a thin layer of bubble wrap. Inspected for damages (None). Opened it up and came with 4 screws on the rails and a baggie of about 20 w/ plastic washers. Very lightweight (lighter than my previous wood 6U case) The slim design is fantastic.. At first I was a bit worried I might have gotten one that won’t fit my Behringer XR18 but it does. The cables do not get in the way in the rear plus plenty of space for my 15ft 16ch XLR snake for FOH use. Overall happy with this purchase just waiting for our next gig to test it out on real world situations. Oh yeah.. wish there was a way to add casters

These cases are great. Very compact and light but still very protective.

I use this with a light karaoke setup (rack mixer, power conditioner, wireless mic receiver). Has rack rails in the front and back. I mounted my antennas and put a pass-through panel on the back for all my ins/outs. It’s plenty sturdy and less expensive than the bigger brands.

A great case for studios or gigging musicians. So far no issues from gigging with this case. Latches seem to be decent and may eventually be an issue from use but that does happen with other expensive brands as well. But the case is of comparable quality to my skb cases overall.

Bottom line: Unacceptably amateurish construction and bad quality control. The case rails have an overhanging lip for fitting the case lid such that some rack mount equipment will not fit between them without the user slightly forcing the case apart. Making the whole case just a few millimeters wider would have eliminated this problem. The rack screws holes in the rails are unevenly drilled. These are not doubled holes like some racks have, but guesswork spacing. Equipment and shelves with standard spacing do not match the holes, and you might have to use just two mounting screws rather than four because the holes on your equipment will not match the holes in the rails. The spacing looks like someone in the factory just "eyeballed" it.The screw thread size does not correspond to standard rack screws. The box comes with six black metric screws and clear plastic washers. Get extras in case you lose any because your standard rack fasteners will not work.In all, what seems like it should be a nice, budget rack case is a poorly constructed potential time-waster. Rather than simply sliding in your equipment and screwing it down, be ready to adapt this poorly constructed case to your equipment, and maybe force things into place. The whole idea behind rack-mounting is standardization of sizes and fasteners. This case is not that.
