I've used the standard roller pads from both walmart and homedepot and figured they're all the same quality, just different naps. These, though I can tell are better. They're smoother, they wash out all the way when I rinsed them, and they're about half the price of the mediocre ones from those aforementioned stores. These are fantastic little roller pads and for the price and amount you get in the package, I feel like I don't have to try and re-use them over and over again to save a dime (or 4 bucks, actually...).

I ordered these because of the price..$20 for 12 and I figured if they were junk, no big loss. To my surprise, they are LITERALLY the best 3in rollers I have ever used and I will be buying them repeatedly as long as they stay available.

For quick and dirty painting these do the trick. If what you need is to load a roller with a lot of paint for thick coverage, these aren't your rollers.

Bought these for long boards I was painting and installing. Laid down a nice, smooth coat. Also washed out very well: I reused two several times, leaving several for future projects.

I really don't know why people are claiming they have issues with shedding on these roller covers. I use them right out of the bag to apply exterior paint to plywood siding and there is no shedding and superb coverage. These are perfect for applying a heavy layer of paint for one coat coverage and I'm painting a dark color over a light color. I will definitely purchase more when I need them!
