I bought this because I felt my eyesight was getting worse from staring at my small mobile phone screen all day. It doesn't require power, and it's very slim, making it easy to carry and convenient to use. I think it's amazing how they've created such a useful item using the magnifying glass principle. The screen is larger, clear, and definitely less straining on the eyes, so I find myself using it regularly. While I can mirror my phone to a TV, it requires turning on the TV and going through several steps. But with this Screen Magnifier Amplifier, I just take it out, open it, and place my phone on the stand, making it very convenient and economical.

So first of all when I ordered this product, I canceled it minutes after I ordered it because I did read some reviews and I did find other types of magnifiers that might’ve been a little bit better. Amazon would not let me cancel the order gave me the old quote. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel your order BS so I said fine whatever I’ll return it once I receive it but because it was unopened and they wanted me to drop it off somewhere to be UPS it was more trouble and expense than it was the $11 and change I bought this for so I said screw it I’ll open it up And try it out. Believe it or not it was pretty good for what it was. Very thin and the green part folded up inside the housing to make it. No thicker than an Amazon tablet. So it would make for easy carrying in a backpack or whatever I bought this because I wanted to have something at work at night to keep me entertained and staring at my tiny iPhone screen my eyes restrained, even if I use my reader glasses. So this thing does magnify it’s a 10 inch screen. Of course the screen is one of those old tiny type of Magnifier plastic screens that grandmothers would use for their bingo cards or to read but honestly they do work , so what was a tiny 5 inch iPhone S screen had turned it into about an 8 inch tablet screen magnified of course there is distortion around the edges of the magnifier, and if you look very close, you can see the ridges almost like a record with all the lines, but your eyes can’t adjust to that and look past that if you look directly into the screen, yes it does a lot better as far as what you can focus on. I imagine if I had a bigger phone and it magnified to the 10 inch magnifier screen it would still have distortion around the edges, but it would definitely look like I was watching a 10 inch TV . I bought this so I could play games on the phone with a game pad. I did have an attachment for my PS4 game pad to put the phone on in with my reader glasses. There was better clarity yes but my arms would get fatigued because I would have them pulled up on my chest , trying to keep the screen close enough with the combo of my reader glasses, and this magnifier lens. It did do a big difference of increasing the size of the screen to play games. Clearly nothing like if you were playing on a 4K TV obviously but sometimes you make do with what you got when you’re in a different location than your home . Do I think this could be a better product all around? Well yes, I do because of the plastic screen which is clearly an old design. I would think that by today’s standards of engineering and manufacturing they probably could do a better type of magnification acrylic screen without all the circular distortion lines and the fussing out Around the edges but of course, if something like that’s made it’s going to cost more money than what I paid for this piece of plastic so I don’t feel like I got taken too badly on the price and realistically this is only for my downtime at work at night to pass the time . Watching videos like YouTube or Amazon prime movies a lot easier because I don’t even have to utilize my hands and sometimes with games even though you have the game pad support, you have to do a little bit of touching of the screen in order to do settings, or turn on the game for that matter so , watching movies is a lot more hands-free and relaxing. If they make something better in the future, will I buy it? Yes I will. I do like the idea of the simplicity of this magnifier in the idea of I’d like to just lay back on the couch, sometimes put it on the coffee table and watch , some videos or movies, hands-free and not think about too much. I would recommend much like with a pair of glasses. Don’t touch the lens with your greasy hands. Have a glass cloth to wipe it down every once in a while if you do touch it, but there is a red tab on the acrylic screen which denotes that’s the only thing you should be touching when you’re pulling it out to set it up For the price you can’t go wrong but it could be cheaper for what it is realistically, I think this was probably only really more of the lines of five dollars worth of plastic instead of $10 but whatever whoever made it wants to make a profit I get it. Would I buy this again? Probably not I’d investigate better types and see what’s best for me but if you’re on a budget, this could be it.

I'm very happy with this purchase, which is great for my daughter who always watches on her cellphone. It's also nice for watching movies, works nicely, and I plan to buy more for my son

Cheap product and it shows. Made of flimsy plastic. The magnifier has rings on it that are hard to clean, it will always have dust and crap in it. These rings also make it reflect a ton of light behind you giving it a glare that is hard to see through. Your viewing angle has to be straight on to have the minimal clarity this device gives. It magnifies your phone but the quality of the magnification is abysmal.Save your money and get a pair of reading glasses from the pharmacy instead

I'm actually very impressed with this screen magnifier. Its about the size of an iPad and built from plastic but has a quality feel. You dint have to be scared of breaking a screen with this. The picture is actually pretty clear on this and it's super easy to use. I think everyone should have one in their to go bag.

I was planing on using it to show a video to a group of people but they had to be very close to the thing. Any be 5 or 6 feet away.

Whoever came up with its genius. This makes your phone movies so awesome. Perfect gift for grandparents. Great quality, easy to use. Sleek design. Will buy more!
