I got these tiles in the red and the gray to put on top of my bathroom floors. Three years ago, my "non-slip" bathroom rugs did not live up to their name and I broke my wrist. Not fun. Nothing I purchased offered any real protection from slips and falls, until these tiles. They are not super comfortable to walk on with bare feet, but, NOTHING moves around on these things. I can put down plain towels or new bath mats and they are staying put. Cleaning is just vacuuming and maybe damp cloth touch up. I got our handyman to install these, so if there is ever a major mess in the bathroom and they have to be unsnapped and taken up, it may be interesting reassembling the worlds weirdest jigsaw puzzle; but, I figure no more broken bones is worth the risk.

So I already have some Dri-Dek on the floor of my console in my bay boat. It really is the perfect solution for anyone that wants to line hatches to protect gel coat, cushion an area, or allow water and condensation to drain from underneath items to prevent mildew. The only draw back is that it is rather expensive for what it is.So, I ordered the Jaderlu because it is 1/3 the price, and I have 7 more hatches I want to line. The Jaderlu, when installed, functionally will work just as well as the Dri-Dek. However, the installation is a bit more cumbersome, and the final fit and finish will not be as "clean" as the Dri-Dek. But for 1/3 the price, it is an adequate substitute. With the Dri-Dek, you can cut and mix and match panels quite easily. So if a hatch requires 1 and 1/3 panels across it's span, you can cut and use any 1/3 section of the panel to complete the install. This is not the case with the Jaderlu, without some modifying of the panels.. Because of it's locking mechanism, only two sides of a panel can be used to lock into place. So if you want to use 1/3 of a panel to cover an area, and then use the remaining 2/3 of that panel, you have to do some cutting on the "lugs" with a utility knife. I didn't take any pics of exactly how I did this, but it does work. When you get the panels, you'll understand how they need to be modified.Additionally, the way the grid is designed on the Jaderlu, you can't always get a "clean" edge when you cut it to size. You'll notice in my pic that the left upper corner does not have a clean edge like the right upper corner. that is because of how the grid was designed.Having said all that, I'm ordering more of the Jaderlu. Because at a 1/3 the price of Dri-Dek, I don't mind the little bit of extra work on install, and certainly don't mind the less than perfect edges in my closed hatches.

Installed these after seeing signs of mold beginning to form under the mattress. They seem to be doing their job, hav had these installed over 6 months now and no signs of mold. Super easy to install and all lay in a flat creating a flat stable surface.

I bought these to help keep items on my boat from getting wet that are in storage compartments. They are easy to cut to size and even easier to put in. When I need more I will definitely be buying more.

This is the third pack of these mats I've purchased. I use them for several things such as under pots on my deck and flooring in my greenhouse. It's nice they lock together or can be used separately.
