The surface veneer was not glued down properly and was bubbled up on one side of the sheet, making that piece unusable. The bubble extends about halfway across the width of the sheet and about halfway down the length of the sheet on one edge. See update below!Update January 2025 - the seller reached out to me and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase. They were very courteous and gave me a partial refund to make things right. I am very satisfied with the customer service!

Exactly what I needed for a laser cutting project I am working on. The edges are cut well and the quality of the wood is great. All the dimensions are correct and it works well for me. Would recommend.

I ordered this same exact wood months ago and it cut perfectly so I reordered the exact product again and what I got is absolutely horrible! Not only is it thicker than the last box it has tons of glue pockets that don’t cut with my laser! For those of you who know about cutting wood with a laser you know how important the thickness is! I would expect to get the same product with the same thickness as all my laser files are custom to specific thicknesses! Not only did most of my pieces not cut through and had to be thrown away, the few I got to cut had to be hammered together to fit! Hours and hours and hours of laser time and I only have one finished project and a bunch of garbage pieces! I do not have time to wait for new wood to be delivered because I have orders that need to be finished in the next couple of days! Such a waste of my money and my time!

The veneer is thin but looks good. No dramatic amount of gaps in the filler, so that's a plus. These are really 4.5 star... but warping is present on a fair number of boards. Depending on your laser power/tolerance this could be more or less of an issue due to charring / incomplete cuts. I'd buy again, but realize that not all pieces will be ideal. Side note - standard white vinegar really works well for removing char on these!

I use this to make ornaments, jewelry, and other items on my laser cutter. Can be too dark to engrave (in some instances) but turns out a nice, elegant finish. Would buy again!

Does not laser cut cleanly. Extra char residue and sometimes doesn't cut all of the way through compared to other brands.
