I use a lot of tape and the quantity was worth the price.The quality is 4 because I like a bit more stickiness to my tape.

TOO SMALL FOR TAPE DISPENSERS!!! I broke my tape dispenser trying to fit one of these tape rolls on it. It fit on so tight that I couldn't even pull any tape off the dispenser. When I tried to take the roll back off, my tape dispenser cracked and the roll broke off. This junk cost me a nice tape dispenser I've had for years! 100% WASTE OF MONEY!

Tape is thin, hard to tear with a tape dispenser, and tears uneven. I would not purchase in the future.

Product is a great price, the tape is almost too strong, a little hard to cut. However, the texture or rather the see through is prefect for wrapping.

As far as I can tell, this is a good product. The tape looks, feels, and behaves like any brand of clear cellophane tape that I have purchased from both dollar stores and office supply stores, and others as well. With one exception: this tape is easy to tear by hand, just like masking tape. I see that as a good feature, because it allows me to use this tape even if there is no dispenser at hand. I just need to remember to secure the end when using the tape without a dispenser, because it was very difficult to find when I allowed it to re-seal to the rest of the roll.The strength of the adhesive seems to me to be equal to that of any other brand, and just like those other brands, this tape is not reliably "invisible". That seems to depend on the surface it is applied to, and not only on the tape itself.Even though it can be torn by hand, the rolls fit properly on both my desktop dispensers, and dispenses and cuts with no problems.I happen to have on hand a couple of rolls of another brand, and I noticed that while this newer tape has 1,000 inches per roll, my other brand boasts 1,296 inches per roll. This difference triggered my curiosity, and I wound up spending more time than I had planned in comparing the lengths of different brands of tape that are available online. I guess it should be no surprise that the numbers are all over the place, making it difficult to choose one tape that is the best value. However, this tape seems to be on the better side of the scale.The one issue that I have with this product is not one that I expected, and that is the smell. When I first opened the package of 24 rolls, I was struck by the strong, chemical smell. I don't know for sure if it comes from the type of plastic, or from the type of adhesive. The smell did not seem to transfer to my hands, but even after several hours in the open air, the smell is still noticeable on an individual roll.Aside from that, this scotch-type tape seems to be a good product.

The tape alone is mid to lower quality. What makes it 1 star is that the roll does not fit on a standard dispenser. That is not convenient and may make this product garbage if I can't find an alternative dispenser. It is off by 1/8" I think. If I can find another that first I may give it a 3.
