I used these lag bolts as brackets to hold a live edge shelf that I built. The bolts are strong and sturdy work as great brackets to hold my shelf. I used four of them to hold my 6 feet long shelf.

These bolts were $9 ea at local building ctr, vs $5 on Amazon. Worked perfectly and are brusers. Predrill and make sure you have a 15 amp low speed high tork power tool. Do not stop bc resistance so high you will not be able to restart. Risk of injury, be careful.
