I bought this for making bail posts for seaglass pendants. it is very pliable, but sturdy. It is a brilliant bright copper, much brighter than what I bought in chain hobby stores. Very happy with it!

I love this wire for my crafting projects. It's perfect for my need as well as the price is reasonable so worth it.

This is absolutely NOT real copper at all whatsoever. I was so excited to use this in my garden and spent hours cutting and wrapping this all around my garden and barely a couple days after being outside, this "copper" started to turn color and rust! (And not patina! - I have a copper sink and know exactly what this should look like). This is only copper COLOR - that's it. Awful stuff. Awful.

I found this wire very easy to work with, it soldered well, and I didn't need to pickle it first. If you don't touch the joint to avoid oils from your hands contaminating the surface, it will solder easily. It took to pickle well, and keeps it's shape well when hardened by hammering it to work harden it. I used lead, tin nickel in the low temperature solders without any issues. High temperature solder like silver hard and easy worked well, the copper didn't melt before the hard solder,

These copper wire spools are nice and shiny out of the box. The wire is soft enough to bend and shape, and stay in shape. Definitely a great addition to jewelry making and great materials.
