This 1200 denier heavyweight turnout is just what you need for the more harsh winter climates. It features waterproof and breathable 1200 denier outer shell with 210 nylong lining, and 300 grams of Polyfil for warmth. It has wither fleece, shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, low cross surcingles, double buckle front with quick clips, full coverage tail flap, and adjustable leg straps that help keep the blanket down and in place.

Put this on a pretty thick horse, and it fit well. Fits good through the hip and shoulders!

My horse is destructive, and he has friends that are destructive. He’s had it on for two months, no tears.

Recommend this! It kept the horse warm and protected from the cold and/or snow and rain.

My horse is so hard to get a correct size on him. And it seems everyone is a little different in their sizes. This is perfect for him! (actually slightly larger than needed but that's ok) He doesn't mind it at all and all the buckles are nice and easy to get on him.

Sturdy, pretty. 84” fits my 17.3 hand Hanoverian… he is normally an 81” so size up with this blanket! It’s more of a medium heavy than a heavy, just note that. Well-made and super colorful happy with my purchase.

I ordered several blankets and really do like them. The horses stayed dry in the snow and rain. The only thing I don't care for is the piece that drapes over the tail. The horses couldn't raise their tail like normal, which caused the manure to run down their legs and the back end of the blankets to get filthy. Other than that I really like the blankets.
