These are for a wedding. I went crazy looking for detailed instructions because the ones on the packaging are pretty vague. The beads are simple to use, just add water. But how much is the million dollar question?! For our purposes we got the clear, and they are perfectly see through. We also got the 100,000 pack for $6. What a deal and value! The size of the beads when they reach their full absorption (I waited at least 8 hours) is approximately 7mm.So here it goes we used household kitchen measuring tools to ensure accuracy.I found the ratio to be:1 TEASPOON to 3 cups of water and waiting approximately 8hours gets the full results.***For anyone using this for decor, I used a 9inch hurricane from dollar tree and poured the teaspoon and water into it. It definitely will fill the hurricane with the beads so much so you will NOT be able to put anything else in there. Be mindful. I plan on “making these†days before my event. ***The picture I attached is of the clear water beads using that ratio!Fun to watch grow and touch, the quality is apparent due to how quickly the beads start to grow and absorb. I hope this is helpful.

I bought these as aqua beads for my plants. I love them! A little goes a long way, they are super tiny but explode!I have all different colors in a clear vase for my plants, these hold the roots sturdy and makes them look like the plants are floating.

These water beads worked really well! The bag instructions said it can take 4-8 hours to grow but after 2 hours they seemed good to go! I took off 1 star for the vague instructions on step 1...."take a certain amount of water beads and put them in enough water." I figured if I covered them in water by a few inches it would work, and it did. My son has a lot of fun playing with these. The colors are nice, and he enjoyed sorting the colors into a muffin tin. The size is good and the durability is as expected. They are able to be squished into pieces, just an FYI. If you press the water bead hard enough it splits into pieces. I used about a quarter of the bag and had a small roaster pan full of beads. Would purchase again!

Packaged nicely for storage capacity. Came in good time…color was a very pretty clear color…easy to use…durable and held up nicely. Set up in water in quickly! Fun to use!
