The surface is highly calendered (non-treated gloss) to a smoothness which resists sample hold or moisture absorption. The high-gloss, milk-white paper is semi-opaque, non-absorbent, and nitrogen-free. It resists tearing during quadrant folding or enveloping, and increases abrasion durability during spatula scraping. Material chemistries are verified against a standard prior to the paper-making process, ensuring lot-to-lot reproducibility. Other applications for this paper include using as slip sheets between samples or slides or liners within containers, short-term exposure as a moisture barrier, or for laminating backing for structural support.

Like the size of sheets. It prevents any powder from falling off during weighing and handling.

great product, as expected and would order again. worked for weighing out my powders. they did however tend to curl up on the sides when set on a flat surface but that really wasnt a big issue.

The product itself seemed good... it seemed very similar to what we previously were using. Unfortunately, the packaging was very poor. One of the three packages had actually broken open in the box and dumped its contents. For laboratory grade equipment, this is unsatisfactory. I was able to salvage most of that third package, and the other two had not broken open even though they were also weakly packaged.
