About this item

  • GREASABLE POLYURETHANE CONTROL ARM PIVOT SHAFTS. Proforged greasable polyurethane lower control arm pivot shafts are built using some of the toughest steel and polyurethane on the planet. Every fit surface is CNC machined for precision fit and finish.

  • BUILT FOR PROFESSIONALS. There’s a reason why the most well-respected performance suspension brands use Proforged control arm shafts - we’re fanatical about quality, performance, and durability. Professionals save time and money with our competitively-priced products that outlast inferior brands. Do the job with confidence - replace your worn components with the leader in performance control arm shafts: Proforged.
  • WHAT IS A CONTROL ARM SHAFT? A control arm shaft (also known as an A-arm shaft) connects your control arm to the vehicle’s frame. A worn control arm shaft causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Replacing your worn control arm shafts gives a noticeable improvement in steering feel, handling, and safety.

These high-strength steel shafts replace old, worn components that cause sloppy handling. Specially designed for polyurethane bushings, these shafts feature a grease channel and zerk fitting to maintain a quiet, low-friction ride. Polyurethane bushings feature a brand new shell to make installation a breeze.

Haven't installed these yet because they came without any instructions for pressing the bushings (2 Piece bushings - bushing has a sleeve) Do I press the sleeve on and then the bushing, or do I press the shaft with the bushing and sleeve installed as an assembly? Tried to contact seller - no reply, went to Proforged's website - no directions for download and no reply to emails. No Phone number is available for them either. I don't want to damage the bushing because I'd have to buy a second set....you'd think a bushing would not be a real big deal but in this case it could be.
