I used this to replace the speed sensor connector going into the transmission itself on a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. I thought it looked slightly different at fist but it's a perfect fit.For what it's worth, one of the wires on my previous connector had corroded through and caused both my tach (not sure why) and my speedometer to randomly drop. Then, the speedometer stopped working all together and the transmission stopped shifting (TCM didn't know the vehicle speed and therefore could not select a gear). Online search results say it's a GMLAN issue when in fact, it was just a connector/wire that had failed. Don't be like me and chase the wrong rabbit, check the simple stuff first.

Found these so much more expensive everywhere else, but this was a great value for the product. Fit the socket I needed it for perfectly.
