I must confess, as a way to save money on headers like this, I usually buy 40 pin strips, then cut them to the size I need. This way, I always have the size I need, and I save money. But when you factor in the time to cut them to size, it really does make sense to buy a kit like this, that isn't terribly overpriced. In shipping, some of the headers migrated to other compartments, but that sometimes happens with parts like this (but no bent pins). I like the fact that they included the extra dividers, so you can use the box for other things. The quality of these headers is pretty good, and I'm very happy with them.

This kit of single row female pin headers is very useful when adding modules to PCB boards. The quality of the headers appears to be good. Male pins fit into the sockets securely. The kit has a wide selection of pin counts to choose from, however you can also take the longer ones and cut them down. The spacing is 2.54mm (100mils), a widely used spacing.This is a nice selection of 2.54mm single row female pin headers for use with PCBs.

I’m constantly trying to find or make the right length header sockets and I was dumb for not getting these before. Never again will I have to make them, which is a huge improvement. These are reasonable quality, work well, and come in a great organization box.I really have no notes here - it is so much nicer to just grab the length in need instead of making do with cutting and sanding or building up from multiple pieces.Do yourself a favor and get these.

These have a good amount of insertion force -- not too hard to mate, but with enough grab that you won't worry about the connection coming loose. They seem well made, and this is a handy kit to have in an electronics lab: there are so many 0.100" headers in use out there.

This is a nice and reasonably priced set of 2.54mm pitch female headers. They're particularly nice because you get lots of different sizes of them and you don't end up having to mutilate them by cutting them to size.The price per unit is fair - it's a good deal.
