I had to return the first one but I am unsure if it was defective. It cleaned fine the first night then it would only turn on three seconds after that. I bought a brand new Dewalt battery and charge pack so I returned it for a new one. The new one works flawless and I wanted to give it another chance so had it replaced. I dont think my battery seated into it right after many tries. As i said though the new one works great..great suction perfect for the small room I live in to clean up the rug and laminated flooring. Glad I gave it a second shot it was worth it. Other vacuums are like 150 bucks and most are corded. This is a good deal and built by a dewalt sister company..thats why people buy it thinking its dewalt..basically it is just a cheaper version..and does what I need it to do without paying 150 for the vacuum and 75 for the battery and charger.Mind you this does NOT come with a battery as I failed to read it properly. I had to order the battery after the fact ,but It is still worth the money and works great. Just thought I would clarify that before people bought it. Yes i would buy it again..since I got the new one a month ago been using it to vaccuum the car..the couches and everything else does a better job than most full vaccuums ive had in my life lol :POne last verification. It has to use Dewalt batteries it says in the instructions. Dont have any other batteries to test that). So if you have one that's 20 volt your set. As I said it is a sister company so only Dewalt batteries work (best of my understanding).

Works great with my Dewalt batteries! Has equal to or greater than suction of my now burned out 20v b&d dustbuster. Definitely worth the money. Size is a bit bigger but will still be handy. Came with some nice attachments which I doubt I will ever use on this as the crevice nozzle is really all I need. I will use them on my full size corded house vac.

I bought this for my wife, she wanted something to help with the cob website and pet hair. It does just that and not much else. It's a brushed moter that doesn't have enough power but it does ok. Had two Dewalt batteries so those worked fine. Both the 2h and 4h batteries fit. Dont expect greatness and this product will be good for you.

This item is way better than I expected. Easy to assemble, various attachments. Has good suction and easy to use. Definitely a good buy. Battery does not drain down quickly at all.

Holy crap, this thing is awesome! I've had a LOT of tools and vacuums in my time, but THIS one actually did quite well right out of the box. Note: it does not come with batteries, but I have an extensive supply of Dewalt batteries for my cordless jigsaw, drill and impact driver. I'm remodeling my house so this got put to use right away for that ultimate test. Comes with all the attachments you'll need. Not a loud unit either. Be sure to clean after every use which will help with long term performance. It goes through a battery fairly quickly but, again, thats why I have so many. Oh, and it was shipped fairly quickly too!! Great price! You won't regret this purchase. ðŸ˜

Product works with a DeWalt rechargeable battery. Quality of unit feels cheap and light. Nosie is low as is suction when using the longer broom extension. The floor/flat attachment is difficult to use on carpeted areas. It has no motorized brush on the end of the floor attachment. It has limited use. More for Auto and/or Furniture, but its only real selling point is battery powered via a name brand rechargeable battery company. If you do not have a DeWalt setup already, it is not worth the money.

I am very pleased with this hand held vacuum. I already had a v20/v60 Dewalt battery.I used it on multiple applications and it did very well. Dust cup is easy to empty. Unit is well balanced.

I was in the market for a new portable vacuum and selected the Mellif because of the good reviews and it uses Dewalt batteries. Very disappointed that I was never able to use it because the latch button that connects the cannister to the motor did not line up with the hole and cannot be connected. I've read reviews and watched videos to see if this happened to others. Did not appear to and I guess I received a lemon; however if this is an example of the quality control of this company, I'll buy the Dewalt vacuum and not a knock off. Lesson learned.
