We bought string lights for our back patio. They are nice but very bright. Kinda killed the mood of dusk. This device plugs in and has 4 settings. We keep ours on 25%. Plugs right in and works perfectly

This dimmer may not actually dim the lights on aLED string that has a rectangular plastic box near the cord. I tried 5 different strings. 3 had the plastic box and would not dim. LEDs remained at full brightness no matter what the dimmer was set at. The lights could be turned ON or OFF with remote control but would not dim.The other 2 sets did not have the plastic box, and the dimmer worked fine.

This light control is great for Holiday lights inside or out. It plugs into any 110 Volt AC house outlet and your lights plug into the other end of this controller. Remote control works perfect for our string lights that we used to have to unplug and plug in to function as off and on now with this remote it's a simple press of the button with added benefits of dimming. Be forewarned, if you need to control different sets of lights the the remotes may be the frequency which may be good or bad in your situation.

Plugged it in, heard some buzzing and immediately my bistro lights kicked off. Plugged them back into the outlet (without the dimmer) and they worked fine. I think the dimmer fried itself. Poor quality

Without instructions it's useless. How do you not include instructions?
