I like how easy it was to assemble, every camera has numbers that make sense, It was used as my surveillance for the house.

For starters, night vision and image quality are on par with what you would expect from a 4MP Dahua/Hik/Lorex/Swann camera. The DVR itself feels just like using a swann, lorex, or night owl. For the price, the cameras alone are worth it and YES, they ARE rtsp compatible and you can use them with other systems like blue iris. That said, the 500gb drive is undersized for four cameras, to be honest, and it seems like a weird thing to cheap out on since they used a desktop grade hard drive that's likely to burn out in 2 years anyway. Should be at least 1tb and they should have gone with an NVR rated drive. a 1TB NVR drive from WD would have been 10 or 20 bucks more, and would easily justify charging more if they marketed that difference.That being said, I have to dock a star since other systems at the same price point offer 1TB drives (desktop ones too though....seems nobody puts a proper NVR drive in these) and otherwise equal camera and NVR quality.For the cost, it's pretty good.

This is a nice complete set for your home security. You get the system, and four cameras, as well as the cables to install them. What you get alone is enough to cover most houses, though you could add up to 4 more cameras if you order them. Since this is a matching set, setup is fairly easy. Considering you even get a 500gb hard drive, this is easy to recommend for most households as a simple to use, standard system. It's very easy to get up and running. If one were to complain, the cheap feeling mouse being uncomfortable and the hard drive being small would be the only two things. You probably will run out of room quickly, so if you want to save video from a longer time back, you might need to upgrade the hard drive. But for reviewing just the past few weeks, this works fine. The image quality is great, both in day and night. You can see what's happening fairly clearly. If something bad happened, it would be a struggle to identify faces of course, but if you have suspects, this lets you compare, and at least records everything happening clearly. If you already have a security system or this is your first time setting one up, it can be time consuming installing all the cables and squirrels unfortunately seem to love cutting them every few years. But a wired system is simpler and more reliable than Wifi, and this seems like a nice set with everything you need to get started.

This dvr works great. Its easy to set up for most part. The hardest part would be running the wires. Overall the cameras have good picture quality.

I ordered this set for my brother who recently purchased a house and asked for wired Security system and I found thisHe got this system professionally installed and once onto a monitor I have to say it’s a great item.Comes with all essentials for a complete system set up and use.Having the NVR included was the bonus that made me order and I was confident together being the same company it would work well together and that came to fruition.Very sleek looking cameras and with 4 he was able to get all angles of the front and back of the housePlenty of wire length to make connections to the box and once hooked into monitors worked perfectlyThere are a ton of settings that make it possible to customize in any number of ways and the overall quality of each component is quite good, in my opinion.I like the ability to angle the cameras and the included mount hardware of course came in handy so as not to have to purchase anything additional to get it set up right away.Included was a good detailed booklet of assembly and instructions on how to use as well as different features plus a few different ways to connect to multiple devices which was a great feature!These aren’t difficult to understand and nice you get a handle on how to do it as far as making adjustments to preference but once in place they provide good quality video that maintains seamless connection with them being wired!For the price I think it’s hard to find everything included and stay competitive given a similar quality system!
