Eye sight great for some one who wears glasses smooth on adjustment easy to change from 7 to 24 and focus I’m new to all this so I have nothing to compare it with I’m happy it work for me great bang for your buck

I actually ordered this by mistake. I had this and the Celestron zoom in my cart at the same time and neglected to remove one so I had to 8 to 24 zooms show up at my house today. Much to my surprise, the case and caps are exactly the same as the Celestron, just the printing is different. The eyepiece is look nearly identical. However, the fit and finish of the Celticbird version is not as good. You can see where the finish was scraped away on one of the retainer wings. That is definitely careless work and it makes you wonder what you can't see. The coatings are different also. The reflection on the Celestron is a green one, which seems to be pretty standard among lens coatings. The reflection on the Celticbird is blue. I don't have any other filters or lenses with that color coating. I wanted a new eyepiece for my Coronado PST solar telescope for the upcoming eclipse so I checked both of these out on that scope. The views were pretty similar, but the contrast and punch was better on the Celestron. For the price difference, I would go with the name brand.
